Bright Purple have taken steps to announce the launch of its new Baltic operation, with the opening of an office in Vilnius in Lithuania. The board believes it’s an exciting development in its plans to Internationalise the business and although like others Bright Purple are feeling the effects of the Global economic slowdown, we believe it’s vitally important as a small Scottish firm to keep pushing on doors out with the UK and trying to position ourselves for the upturn when it comes and it will come. Risky strategy maybe, but essential definitely. Bright Purple are grateful to Charles Cormack and his excellent team at CCBaltic who have helped make this next stage in Bright Purple’s strategy a reality and opened our businesses eyes to the possibilities of the Baltic’s and Northern Europe.

OMEC was planning to establish a company presence in Baltic States, and was at an early stage of investigation. Than we approach CCB and they helped us identify the opportunities and helped with: market analysis; introductions to various companies and contacts; facilitation of discussions; and post deal support. I was extremely impressed with the way CCB had organized my recent visit to Lithuania and Latvia. The quality of the contacts and visits that CCB arranged and the opportunities these afforded were very impressive. I found the CCB staff both very efficient and friendly, they had a comprehensive knowledge of the educational and commercial environment within the Baltic states and were able to assist me in making the most of my trip. The itinerary was well planned and coordinated and CCB were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to a long and fruitful association with them.

- RGB commissioned CCB to help it with UK market access, they worked with us to develop the service we offered, to ensure it met the demands of the UK customer, they helped us to develop relevant marketing material, and then arranged for us to visit the UK and meet possible customers. The meetings were very successful, with all companies genuinely keen to cooperate, and we are now developing the relationships we have made and winning business. I would not hesitate to recommend CCB to any Baltic company who are seriously considering the UK market.

- Aberdeen Business School, the largest faculty of Robert Gordon University, UK engaged Cormack Consultancy Baltics (CCB) in January 2011. We entered into the contract with them following only two meetings as we were immediately impressed with the professionalism they demonstrated and due to the breadth and depth of their contact network within the Baltic States. We requested that CCB provide a market intelligence report related to the strengths and aspirations of our organisation. This was provided speedily and accurately, with the appropriate focus on our operational capacity. We requested a visit to the Baltics to meet with key contacts identified through CCB and this was organised efficiently and speedily. An initial visit by two senior members of the Aberdeen Business School took place at the end of March 2011, with immediate follow-up possibilities in order for us to formulate a Business Strategy for the Baltics. We are very impressed with the service of CCB so far and see them as a key partner in achieving our aims.

- "I found the recent CC Baltic organised trade mission to Latvia and Lithuania to be extremely well run and organised. My Company discussed with CCB prior to the mission what we were looking for and the CCB team delivered. Indeed they exceeded my expectations with their ability to organise appointments with key decision makers at the highest level both in public bodies, government (National and Local) and corporations. CCB prepared the ground for the trade mission very well, with incisive briefings on the economy and the country. Their locally based teams were always on hand to assist and I received a personal briefing prior to every appointment. Whilst it is too early to say if any contracts will be signed, I can say that of the appointments made by CCB for my Company then 73% have real potential. On top of all of the above the mission was great fun!"
Geoff Fenlon, The ICC.
