Establishing R&D hubs and accessing EU funding
In 2009 new EU Structural Funds were released in Latvia and Lithuania. These funds are largely targeted at supporting innovation and the development of innovative products. Local companies are able to access a range of funding streams including:
- Up to £450,000 for product development
- Up to £40,000 a year to support foreign professionals working in Latvia and Lithuania
- Financial support for consultancy service
