This article is designed to give you an update on developments in the Baltic States over the past few months and highlight some of the opportunities we see for UK businesses over the coming six months. 

I was having a discussion last week with our Baltic client director about the relative success of some our Baltic clients.  I was keen to get her view on why some were doing very well, and some not so well.

The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (www.liaa.gov.lv), in association with CCBaltic are holding a  seminar to be held between 9.30am -11.30am  at the Institute of Sustainable Construction, Edinburgh Napier University (42 Colinton Road),  The seminar will allow Scottish businesses to learn more about the timber frame and house industry in Latvia.

The insightful business initiative, Invest Lithuania, in partnership with Cormack Consultancy Baltic,  is set to give SMEs in Teesside, Liverpool and Aberdeen the opportunity to find out about the commercial potential of  exploiting the strategic benefits of partnerships in emerging economies such as Lithuania.
