Exciting news has been announced this morning in the Sunday Herald. Bright Purple the Scottish based recruitment company has just announced the opening of a new office in Lithuania. We have been helping them with this project for almost a year, so delighted that the news is finally out in the open.
Bright Purple is a great company, led by Nick Price and inspirational business leader. It had been fun and an education working with him on this project. I think the interesting thing about this decision is that underlines Lithuania and the Baltic States increasing importance as a venue for international companies who want to establish IT teams, over the past few years we have had a number including Western Union and Barclay’s establish big teams and just a few months ago another of the companies we work with Call Credit announced plans to recruit up to 200 IT staff in Lithuania
Bright Purple has recognised that as more and more companies come in then there is an opportunity to offer their services to these international companies they already work with in the UK. They also understand that the Baltic is going to be the ideal base for servicing the Russian and Scandinavian markets.
