Meet Latvian Timber House Manufacturers Delegation

Edinburgh November 23rd, 2011 , 9:30am – 11:30am

The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (www.liaa.gov.lv), in association with CCBaltic Ltd (www.ccbaltic.eu) are delighted to invite you to a seminar on timber frame and house industry in Latvia, as well as participating in the seminar you will also have a chance to meet a number of Latvian companies from the sector who are looking to find partners in the Scottish market.

The seminar will give an overview of the timber construction sector in Latvia and highlight the opportunities for Scottish companies who may be interested in finding new suppliers or partners from the market.  Each Latvian company would briefly present its business and you will then have a chance to meet with any representative on a one-to-one basis at the end of the event.

We believe that this seminar will be particularly relevant to Scottish architects, developers and construction companies.  The LTHM Delegation includes manufacturers of prefabricated, timber frame, and log houses. The majority has extensive experience of supplying partners across Europe (including the UK).

The advantages of the Latvian manufacturers are: quality of the products and services, non-standard solutions, innovative technologies, short delivery terms, and competitive prices. A growing number of British companies realize the advantage of expanding their supply chain, outsourcing production, or making direct investment in the manufacturing sector in Latvia.

The event will take place on November 23rd, between 9.30am -11.30am (registration from 9am) at the Institute of Sustainable Construction, Edinburgh Napier University (42 Colinton Road).

If you would like to register for this event please email Anastasia@ccbaltic.eu.
